About Us

“Can you tell another story?”

 - Our kids
                ...every day...

Every day our kids ask us:

"Can you tell another story?"

So in an effort to capture some of our own stories and tell our kids other stories as well, and to do it in a way that they can enjoy hearing them over and over again, and without us going crazy or having to tell them "LAST ONE!"….. our podcast was born! Plain and simply, these stories are recorded for our kids to keep and to share with you.

The prophet Joel once said,

"Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation."

I love just the power of story. Stories are timeless, ageless, and bypass the mind and go straight to the heart. There is something human about telling stories. It's in our DNA, woven into our very being, a commandment even, in order for the next generation to build upon.

The stories we tell

Beartown Stories is focused on providing stories, for young and old listeners, to inspire childlike imagination, spark creativity, and encourage a desire to learn. We only tell stories that teach strong morals, Godly behavior, and have clean and respectful language, subjects, and themes. Our goal is to as Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

- We are all childlike at heart, stories just help us realize that.

Goals for the Podcast

Some of our upcoming goals for the podcast include:

  • Release an episode every day, except Saturdays.
  • Partner with other authors to read their books.
  • Have an online book store to promote and sell author's books we read on the podcast.
  • Have multiple subscription tiers that offer even more bonus material and content.

One of our dreams we have had for a long time is to publish children's books and translate them in other languages to give to children around the world. We have taken preliminary steps in getting this project started but like all things, it is a process and a journey.

Valiant Publishing House will be a non-profit with the main focus being on distribution of books to children across the world to children who might not have as easy access to reading material suitable for them. For every book purchased, Valiant Publishing House will donate a translated book to a child in need.

To help this vision become a reality, Beartown Stories will be donating 10% of all proceeds from podcast revenue to help launch and fund Valiant Publishing House. We can't wait to see where our stories will go.
